safety in the workplace

Sleep Apnea screening for transportation, manufacturing and distribution workers of all types is encouraged. This includes those that operate and maintain the equipment.

Certainly the nature of air traffic controller shift work and truck drivers boring stretches of road affect alertness on the job. However a program to screen for sleep apnea and ensure CPAP compliance is extremely important in taking this medical condition out of the equation.

Snoring and sleep apnea can exacerbate medical conditions of hypertension and diabetes, and increase potential of heart disease and stroke. In addition to causing safety and productivity problems in the work place and on the highway.

Screening, testing and treating sleep apnea offers the rewards of a good, healthy and safe life both in the patients and those surrounding them.

CPAP Equipment and supplies

Should your test positive for sleep apnea we can assist you with your CPAP equipment and supplies.  We are Joint Commision Accredited for home care and are staffed with Certified Repiratory Therapists and Registered Sleep Techs.

To reduce risks of infections by re-using masks, patients take the masks that they use the night of the sleep study home with them.  This ensures that a mask used by one patient is not used by another.
